What the Core Ignition Method is
The Core Ignition Method™ (CIM) is Mostec AI's inside-out method for implementing change. It replaces traditional workshops and lectures with practical adoption by carefully selected people inside the organization. The aim is faster, deeper and more stable adoption, with less resistance and at lower cost.
Mostec AI uses it for implementing change, employee growth and boosting productivity.
The problem it solves
Change is usually announced from the top: an all-hands meeting, an email from leadership, briefings that cascade down. When the change affects people's jobs, as AI does, the response is predictable. People accept it on the surface and resist it underneath.
Leadership then tries to enforce the change uniformly across everyone at once, through workshops, presentations or team-building. That rarely changes how people actually work.
How it works
As AI Resistance describes it: "CIM does not rely on training sessions or passive learning through presentations." Instead, the change starts with a few people who are respected within the organization and have real influence over others.
- A core, not a crowd. Change starts with a small group, not with the whole organization at once.
- Influence over rank. The people chosen are those colleagues turn to with questions, not necessarily the highest performers.
- Real experience first. The core adopts the change in practice before the wider rollout, so they can answer questions from experience rather than speculation.
- Spread through example. Once they have internalized the change, they become anchors of stability and ambassadors of change. New ways of working spread from them organically.
When the goal is a new culture rather than a new process, the method starts even smaller. In AI Friction, a Mission Mode culture, where every employee works toward an exceptional customer experience, is initiated by a single person who forms the core. That person has worked through doubt to complete commitment, has the final say in who joins first, and builds a team that then protects its own standards.
Where it fits in a Mostec AI engagement
Every Mostec AI engagement moves from discovery and a mandatory AI audit to implementation and post-delivery advisory. The Core Ignition Method shapes how change reaches people during implementation and post-delivery, where teams are trained, systems evolve as roles shift and adoption has to hold after the project is complete.
What changes for the organization
- Change is carried by respected colleagues, not only by announcements.
- Concerns go to people with direct experience instead of circulating as rumors.
- Adoption is faster, deeper and more stable, with less resistance.
- Less reliance on workshops and presentations to move people.
