Four phases, one sequence
The Mostec AI process is a four-phase engagement (Discovery, AI Audit, Implementation and Post-Delivery) that maps where AI will change decisions, responsibility and daily work before any system is designed. Structure first, technology second.
Most AI consultants start with technology and work backward. We start with your organization's decision architecture and work forward. Tools without structural alignment create invisible drift: things work on the surface while accountability and decision pathways quietly erode underneath. Each phase below exists to prevent that.
1. Discovery (free)
We research your company, your key people, your industry and your competitors, using publicly available data, including LinkedIn presence and digital footprint.
What we cannot uncover through research alone, we ask. Based on our findings, we design a tailored, in-depth questionnaire about your processes, goals and operational reality. Answering it often involves more than one department.
Your answers help us identify pain points and form hypotheses about where AI can help and whether the business is ready for it. Everything is presented in a comprehensive Discovery Report, before you commit to anything. You invest nothing but your time. Discovery usually takes one to two weeks.
2. AI Audit (mandatory)
The audit is mandatory because hypotheses are not enough. It validates the discovery findings with real operational data and tests each AI opportunity against how work is actually done.
At the core of the audit is a map of every AI Touch Point in the organization. The results are delivered in a comprehensive report with the AI integrations we recommend. The audit is scoped individually, based on the discovery findings, organizational complexity and team size, and typically takes two to four weeks.
Companies that already use AI tools need the audit most. It shows what is actually happening, compared with what leadership thinks is happening.
What are AI Touch Points?
AI Touch Points are the specific places in an organization where AI adoption changes how decisions are made, who holds responsibility, where operational strain increases, and how human judgment is applied. Most implementations miss them. We map them before anything gets built.
3. Implementation
You decide which recommendations to act on. Implementation can be staged in phases or delivered as one complete package.
We design and build AI systems aligned with your actual workflows. We architect the system prototypes, then guide development, with clear ownership built in from the start. Implementation is priced on measurable return, tied to business impact such as hours saved and cost reduction, not on billable hours. Timing depends on scope, but most organizations should expect six to twelve weeks.
4. Post-Delivery
A project is not finished when the system goes live. We train your team to work with the new systems and to evolve them as roles shift, so control does not dissolve the moment the project is marked complete.
After that, we stay in an advisory role as needed, for as long as the transformation needs guidance. Retainers are the exception, not the default: we agree on one only if you ask for it or the work genuinely requires it.
Where our proprietary systems fit
Every AI implementation we design is built on Mostec AI's 15+ proprietary business systems, including the European Management Matrix (EMMA™), the PIPE Method™, the Bamboo Strategy™ and the Core Ignition Method™. They are the structural backbone behind the work, not generic frameworks. Read more on the frameworks page.
Start with discovery
The first step is a conversation. Get in touch or book a call, and we will give you a clear picture of what discovery would look like for your organization.
